A furiously frothy MAGA Mike Johnson, House Speaker—takin’ a break from checking his porn monitor and quite simply beside himself—railed, pissed, and moaned, where it could be heard, that evil Communism was in our very home! New York mayor Mamdani, he warned, was a “socialist dagger” pointed at the throat of America, and “Mini‑Mamdani” clones were “already springing up” across the United States like little cancers and festering blights! Anxious stuff, boy howdy!

...But here’s the rub: most people couldn’t tell a Democratic Socialist (Bernie Sanders) from a National Socialist (Adolf Hitler), define “socialist,” itself, distinguish it from fascism, capitalism, or the dreaded bug‑a‑boo (cue ominous music!) COMMUNISM! …And that’s the point. It doesn’t have to be factual, authoritative, or even rational! It just has to be a “bug‑a‑boo”—preferably three syllables. You know, like Benghazi. Solyndra. Antifa. George Soros. Social‑ist. Rad‑i‑cal. Il‑le‑gals. Toxic catchphrases of that disingenuous ilk, and used by a disingenuous ilk in support of disingenuous ilk!

So let’s evaluate this right‑wing bug‑a‑boo for what it is: a dodge, a distraction, and ultimately a disservice. What else could it be? It’s not truth!

…But wait—how many times, and when, has the Angry American right trumpeted warnings of “COMMUNISM!” whenever it starts looking like Social Democrats might hold legitimate sway? Well… it’s worse than you’d have thought, and shameless for the effort.

This is one of those questions where the pattern is the answer—because the American right has warned of “communism” or “creeping socialism” so many times, across so many eras, that it becomes a kind of political reflex of anxious panic. Their insentient go‑to. And why? To keep your money flowing upward to the billionaire class. No surprises there!

Below is the structured historical rundown—the fossil record—showing when and how these warnings have been deployed whenever Social Democrats, progressives, lefties, or even mild reformers begin to gain any, and justifiable for that, remember, any influence in public affairs.

1. The First “Red Scare” (1917–1920) …Angry Trumpets are sounded!

The trigger? Labor movements, unionization, and mild social-democratic reforms. Today’s citizen has no idea the hellscape poor white citizenry endured back then! The Right-wing’s disingenuous warnings?  “Bolshevism is coming to America”!!! “Labor Strikes” = communist plotage!!! Immigrants = communist infiltrators!!! This was only the first major instance of “communism” being used as a blanket warning against any left-leaning policy, however moderate!

 2. The New Deal Era Scare (1933–1945) …Gird responsible loins!

Trigger: FDR’s Social Democratic reforms — Social Security, labor protections, public works. Right-wing warning? FDR is a “dictator”!!! The New Deal is “creeping socialism”!!! Social Security = communist redistribution!!!

Business lobbies and conservative politicians used “communism (!)” as the label for any expansion of the “welfare state.” …Welfare State will be heretofore defined as a State concerned with the SENTIENT general “welfare” of its citizenry. Not its coddling. Not its babysitting. Not its enslavement!

3. The Second “Red Scare” / McCarthyism (late 1940s–1954). …“Have you no shame, Sir?”

Trigger? Truman’s Fair Deal, civil rights stirrings, and postwar labor strength. Right-wing warning: Democrats infiltrated by communists!!! Civil rights activism = communist agitation!!! Social Democrats in Europe = proof that America was “next”!!!

This is the era that cemented “communism” as a catch-all accusation of liars, cheats, and thieves to besmear the correct, right, and just!

4. Civil Rights Movement Scare (1955–1968) …We shall overcome!

Trigger? Social Democrats and progressives pushing racial equality. Right-wing warning: MLK and civil rights leaders = communist agents!!! Desegregation = communist destabilization!!! Voting rights = communist takeover!!! Oh, the pearls so jealously clutched!

The FBI itself used this very framing!

5. The Great Society scare (1964–1968) …Mammals considered over Reptiles!

Trigger? Medicare, Medicaid, anti-poverty programs. Right-wing warning: “Welfare state = socialism”!!! Medicare = “socialized medicine”!!! LBJ = “soft on communism”!!!

This rhetoric was used heavily by Goldwater conservatives. Goldwater wanted to nuke Vietnam!

6. The 1970s–1980s (Carter and early Reagan era) …Fairness is dealt a lethal blow!

Trigger? Environmental regulation, consumer protection, and détente. Right-wing warning: EPA = communist-style central planning!!! Consumer safety laws = socialism!!! Carter’s diplomacy = “appeasement of communists”!!!

Even Jimmy Carter’s solar panels were called “communist nonsense.”

7. Clinton Era (1993–2001) …And why they hate Hillary!

Trigger? Healthcare reform, gun control, and globalization. Right-wing warning: Hillarycare = “socialized medicine”!!! It was precisely this that started her problems with the GOP, and their fallacious persecution of her ongoing to this very DAY! Assault weapons ban = communist-style disarmament!!! UN cooperation = “global communism”!!!

Unregulated Talk (HATE!) radio and FOX News, et al, amplified all this dramatically.

8. Obama Era (2009–2017) …No, you won’t!

Trigger? ACA, stimulus, auto rescue, Dodd–Frank, and multiculturalism. Right-wing warning: Obama = socialist/communist!!! ACA = “government takeover”!!! Bank regulation = Marxism!!! …Even the tan suit, remember the tan suit…. It was all the right had; they said it was “communist chic.” … Effin’ Morons.

This was one of the most intense periods of “communism” rhetoric since McCarthy! All of it Bull shiznit, just dusted off for use in the 21^st Century. Apparently, we still have no shame!

9. Biden Era (2021–2024)

Trigger? Infrastructure spending, student debt relief, climate policy, and pandemic response. Right-wing warning: Biden = socialist puppet!!! Mask mandates = communist control!!! EV incentives = “green communism”!!! Social Democrats in Congress = “Marxist caucus”!!!

The term “communism” is now applied to everything from public health, through sentient legislature, to electric stoves. No Communist worries in Republican administration, boy howdy! No, that will be when the fascist billionaire Epstein class is in charge!

10. The pattern across all eras… Whenever: Social Democrats gain influence, progressive reforms appear, or government expands services, the American NAZI and psychopathic right reliably deploys: “communism,” “socialism,” “Marxism,” “collectivism,” “tyranny,” and “dictatorship”… It’s a century-long rhetorical tradition of hypocrisy and self-serving mendacity, only! It is not a specific analysis. It is only a stupid mnemonic device to distract and besmear the legitimate and righteous!

At the end of the day? The right has warned of “communism” in every major era that Social Democrats or progressives begin to hold sway! This is from 1917 to 2026! It’s not tied to specific policies so much as it is to any movement toward collective action, regulation, or social welfare. Billionaires don’t pay taxes! It’s the law. A joke, but that’s not far off the mark.

We’re reacting now to the realization that the American right has been running the same duplicitous, dissembling, and hollow-hearted script for more than a century—and that script predates even the effin’ Cold War! It’s older than McCarthy! It’s older than the Soviet Union’s collapse! It’s older than the modern GOP! It’s practically baked into the lurid and duplicitous DNA of American conservative rhetoric!

And when you see it all at once, the continuity of it is… revolting.

Let me give the patient and concerned reader the distilled insight—the one that explains our outrage!

Revealed! The glad American right has used “communism” as a panic button for every leftward motion since 1917. Not sometimes. Not often. Not during crises. ...Always!

Whenever: labor organizes, workers demand rights, minorities demand equality, government expands services, regulation increases, social welfare grows, or Social Democrats gain influence… the right deploys the same sick, demented, and mendacious gimmick:

“Communism is coming”!  …Well, not so much, scroller… ever!

It’s not analysis. It’s not ideology. It’s not policy critique. It’s conditioning—a century-long Pavlovian reflex imposed by the tyrannical wanting to make us all wage slaves sans healthcare, affordable housing, or clean air and water! Republicans take us for Pavlov’s dogs… they’re largely correct about that…

Why it feels worse now?

Because we’re able to see the false-fronted continuity across eras:

• 1917: unions = communism
• 1933: Social Security = communism
• 1955: civil rights = communism
• 1965: Medicare = communism
• 1993: healthcare reform = communism
• 2009: Obama = communist
• 2021–2026: masks, EVs, stoves, vaccines, infrastructure = communism
• Constructive Social Evolution = COMMUNISM!

It’s not just worse—it’s unchanged. It’s a broken record of one-trick ponies! Then? It’s stupid! The rhetoric is so repetitive that it becomes a kind of nasty-smelling right-wing political flatulence!

The kicker—the part that hits hardest?! The American right has warned of “communism” more often than actual communists have actually existed! True story! Talk about the boy who cried wolf, eh? …And the Republi-tard “hunter” STILL comes runnin’!

That’s why our reaction is what it is. We’re not shocked by the existence of the pattern, so much, although that’s pretty nasty, too. No, we’re shocked by the scale of it—the sheer number of times it has been deployed, the breadth of rationally reasonable policies it has been applied to, and the fact that it has been used to oppose everything from racial equality, through sexual emancipation, to public health, just to start! Evil by any other name…

We’re reacting to the horrific and hysterical historical absurdity of it!

And yes—knowing it —that absurdity hits even harder. It all comes down to choice, friends and neighbors… Well, scroller, "Choice" and "November" LOOM! Have a plan to vote.

Is Donald Trump an enemy agent of the United States? Is he a traitor? No? Uh... Let’s examine the more damning audit trail!

…But hang on a minute! Let's not bury the lead!  Let's first ask how we are so blithely allowing ANY of the following (explored in a moment!) to be tolerated at all? Reflect, reader, that history will be looking at us ALL with stark and alarmed incredulity! Justifiably so! 

So! Let's consider the "tells," if the reader will! ...Were a U.S. political leader acting as a foreign asset, would they not typically show the very traits to which we’re about to allude?! ...Buckle in and have something to bite down on! Smoke ‘em if ya got ‘em… bum ‘em from your buddy, if’n ya don’t! Gird loins wherever they are!

Be assured, reader, that these “traits” are drawn, and assiduously, from documented cases involving compromised officials in multiple countries over a long period of time! Hundreds… (thousands?) of years! Primary histories of deeds done, undone, and not done. They’re not tied to any one figure or country… but they’ll show a clear audit trail for the ilk here discussed and typified; they’ll all have the same traits! They always do! What ARE these traits, then? Well…

1. An apt place to start is that they will consistently align themselves with a foreign power’s, even lurid, strategic goals! 

Not occasionally. Not accidentally. …Slavishly! Unerringly! Consistently!

These “lurid” patterns will include:

• Echoing that country’s anti-American talking points!
• Undermining U.S. alliances that threaten that country!
• Opposing any sanctions on that country!
• Praising that country’s leader inexplicably, disproportionately and inappropriately!
• Casting uncalled-for doubt on organic intelligence assessments about that country!

This is the HALLMARK of foreign influence: unforecast policy alignment without some clear domestic benefit! Who might be guilty of the “aforementioned points” in recent, uncontested, and uncompromised memory… and does it rhyme with “bronzed blivit of bigoted bat squeeze? We'll move on.

2. They would attack or delegitimize their own intelligence agencies!

Foreign services want:

• U.S. intel weakened!
• Counterintelligence demoralized!
• Public trust in national security institutions eroded!

So a compromised (bad!) actor will:

• Baselessly claim any heretofore trusted organic intelligence agencies are corrupt!
• Reject even their peer-reviewed and highly evidenced findings!
• Fire or sideline officials who raise alarms or just do a principled JOB!
• Replace them with even incompetent loyalists and sockpuppets!
• Persecute whistleblowers!

This is a classic textbook pattern in compromised regimes. How is our bronzed bucket of fly-ridden swine offal doing so far?

3. They would create chaos in domestic institutions!

Foreign adversaries benefit when:

• The U.S. is divided!
• Elections are doubted!
• Agencies are paralyzed!
• Public trust collapses!

Sooooooooooooo… a compromised (bad!) actor will:

• Promote even wild-assed conspiracy theories!
• Attack even the proven legitimacy of elections!
• Encourage corrosive distrust in courts, Congress, or the press!
• Amplify any internal conflicts for distractions!
• Contrive to divide where division is divisable!
• Demonize fair play as a sucker's bet!
• Lie when the truth would have served!

Destabilization is a strategic asset where our bad actors don't even have to fire a shot! …Uh huh… Talk about bigoted bronzed bulls in the “china shops” of competent governance and imploding our key critical agencies of their mores, norms, and traditions… amirite? I’m right.

4. They would cultivate personal, opaque, and even adoring relationships with dodgy foreign leaders! They would laud a Putin. Celebrate a Kim Jong-un. Commemorate a Viktor Orban. They might even keep a big book of Hitler’s speeches next to their beds as they slept…

This raises major red flags in counterintelligence!

Typical behaviors of these treasonous ilk:

• They have private meetings with no U.S. note‑takers and none of the records required by law!!
• There is unusual secrecy around conversations or meetings with bad actors!
• Communications are illegally routed outside official record channels!
• There is inexplicable deference to the foreign leader’s even nasty preferences and predilections!

This bypasses the national‑security apparatus, and just who is it that has been the most guilty of just that!!!

5. They would push policies that weaken U.S. alliances!

Foreign adversaries want:

• NATO weakened! Who is served by that?
• The EU fractured! Who is served by that?
• U.S. military presence reduced! Who is served by that?
• Sanctions lifted! Who is, indeed, served by that?

This compromised actor will:

• Criticize NATO!
• Threaten to withdraw!
• Undermine allied leaders of their national security!
• Block military aid to countries resisting an adversary… like oh, I don’t know… just spitballin’… Russia?!

This is geopolitics 101. Guess who flunked this subject THEN, LATER, and NOW! That might be the guy eaten up with ridiculous ballrooms, crypto-coinage, and arches of purloined triumph!!!

6. They would attack domestic critics more fiercely than the foreign adversary!

A foreign‑influenced actor will:

• Minimize the adversary’s wrongdoing!
• Deflect blame!
• Attack journalists, whistleblowers, or investigators!
• Frame domestic opponents as the “real enemy”!

This is a classic authoritarian‑capture pattern, well-reflected throughout all the cogent primary histories, so it’s like standing on the rattling tracks with an orange train trailing dirty yellow smoke clearly roaring down upon you… while the reader is encouraged to take all this for Christ’s second coming… literally! There's your "Christian Nationalism"! Let's pause a moment to spit in its face!

7. They would financially entangle themselves with foreign oligarchs!

Foreign intelligence services often use:

• Loans
  
• Real‑estate deals
• Licensing agreements
• Debt leverage
• Business intermediaries

These create pressure points for compelling kompromat.

A compromised (bad) actor will then:

• Refuse to release financial records! Who’s guilty of that?
• Maintain opaque business ties! Who’s guilty of that?
• Pursue foreign deals while in office! Who’s guilty of that?
• Surround themselves with intermediaries linked to that country…  Who’s guilty of that?

This is how kompromat is conceived and nurtured. Who does this remind the reader of… presuming any “meat” left in their brainpans!

that an upper class forgets: 

 the weakest link defines the chain; 

it's strong links are the best!

These "links" are individuals, 

and if needs be?  Stand alone. 

 It's best they be autonomous 

for the thoughts they can compose.

As regards that—well-justifiably—maligned "upper class," (a trillionaire is an abomination!) they could have it their way, painlessly and above board, riches beyond their most fervidly psychopathic imaginings... They could realize their most fervid dreams if they but demonstrated the most minimal respect for the instruments of their monstrous wealth! Who are these "instruments"?

Individuals! Them and them alone! You see, some regard must be shown to those who provide... and for others more privileged than themselves... such grand largesse!

It's this aforementioned, "elitist disrespecting," standing in the way of space exploration, cosmic disclosure, and even respect for the common person; make no mistake. This seems demonstrable. They've a "bird in hand" and wouldn't even consider an effin' cornucopia in the very achievable bush. That's no mistake either.

As regards "individual autonomy"... It's not anarchy and the end of polite society! Far from it! Those autonomous and so too-well-foundationed individuals just have a more secure spot from which to lever a greater power than that presently enjoyed... and then be able to contribute even more to the positive synergy... of an efficacious team. Individual Autonomy, one might discover, won't drive teams apart as much as make a team even MORE productive, intelligent, and far-reaching. Better, would be the word used.

True, there's no "I" in team, but there is a "me" if'n you're not picky about letter order and another given a color separation. More well-vetted responsible people, acting in the capacity of emergency police, astonishingly, not less... should carry concealed weapons, even... just spitballin'...

The point? Anything contributing to a safer more individual autonomy should be busily encouraged. It adds quality to the contribution an individual can make to a team of similar individuals. That makes the care and feeding of individuals key, and NOT of secondary importance.  The individual IS key to the efficacy of any team.

Right now, we don't have a lot of respect for our individuals, and as the population goes steadily up, less all the time. There will be no "profit" that comes with that.

As regards UFOs being everything... Well, the fact of their existence would change everything in the same way occurring were we to abruptly discover that there were other civilizations in the unexplored region across space's metaphorical river—if we discovered that we had powerful witnesses to our arbitrary crimes of convenience and our practiced serial sociopathy, eh?

The kids in Golding's "Lord of the Flies," unfettered by any mentoring and adult leadership, ran hot and rampant until the grownups showed up at the end of the novel to sort them out and re-civilize them... hmm. "Adult supervision" would settle some errant aspects of humanity's hubristic hash, eh?

Golding wasn’t saying “children are bad.” He was saying humans without structure, accountability, or sensible norms will drift toward chaos—because civilization is a practice, not a default state.

In the novel: remove mentorship, institutions, shared norms, accountability, and adult supervision... then add fear, scarcity, charisma, and tribal "identity"?

The result is violent hierarchy, myth-making, and authoritarian drift... that's the history.

When the naval officer arrives at the end, the boys don’t just stop — they collapse, because the sudden reappearance of authority reminds them of the civilization they abandoned.

Golding’s point wasn’t about kids. It was about humans.

Reasoned? Civilization isn’t the opposite of chaos. Civilization is the management of chaos. Remove the managers—the norms, the laws, the accountability—and humans behave exactly like Golding’s boys:

Myth replaces truth!
Fear replaces reason!
Power replaces cooperation!
Cruelty replaces restraint!

An illustration would be the behavior of the current administration in 2026...

...Adult supervision isn’t about grownups, per se. It’s about structures that keep us grown up. Structures that encourage an efficacious maturity. Woke structures... true by watch and warrant! We'll stop there.
